The inspiration for Autobahn West was fueled in 2004 by the need of avid BMW drivers for a superior source of extremely high-quality, pre-owned BMW automobiles. We are lifelong BMW owners and enthusiasts who truly understand the demands of the discriminating BMW customer.
At Autobahn West, we specialize in BMWs and have developed a reputation for having exceptionally high expectations when selecting BMWs for our inventory. Each car must conform to our high standards regarding it's appearance, structural integrity and mechanical condition. Our inventory is limited because it represents only the most select BMWs and performance automobiles that meet our stringent qualifications.

We personally hand-select our BMWs - only after inspecting hundreds of possible choices. We carefully investigate the history of each BMW in advance using Carfax and AutoCheck. Each of our BMWs must pass an extensive Safety / Mechanical / Cosmetic inspection to qualify for our inventory.

Tim Yost (President and Founder of Autobahn West) has been an avid "Car Guy" ever since he helped his Dad change the spark plugs in the family's beloved '65 Pontiac at age six. He has been an active member of the BMW Car Club and has been a high-performance driving enthusiast since 1982. He is also an active BMWCCA driving instructor.
Tim has earned the respect of the business community as Owner/President of a successful San Diego based Commercial General Contracting firm for eight years prior to starting Autobahn West. He has developed a reputation for exceptionally high quality standards and has proven that personal customer service is the only way to truly succeed in business. Tim has now directed his high standards and service skills towards his true passion…..BMWs. His passion for BMW automobiles and performance driving is the inspiration for launching Autobahn West Enterprises, Incorporated.
