Terms

Payment Methods: We accept Cash, Cashier's check, 3rd party (Banks / Credit Unions) financing, or Wire Transfer. We will be happy to assist your Financial Institution with procuring your financing. If purchasing via the Internet, please be sure to have the appropriate means of purchasing secured, prior to committing to your purchase. Payment Terms: A $1000.00 deposit is required within 48 hours of purchase to secure the selected vehicle. We are happy to accept PayPal for deposit payments. The Deposit will be applied to the balance owed on the vehicle. Balance must be paid in full within seven (7) business days of purchase. If the deposit is not received or the balance has not been paid within the specified time, the vehicle will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come, first-served basis, as we have our inventory listed locally for sale. California Fees and Taxes: California Resident Buyers are responsible for California Sales Tax, Title, Smog Certification Fees and $80 Documentation Fee.Out-of-State Fees and Taxes: Buyers are responsible for $45 documentation fee, taxes and DMV fees for the State where the vehicle will be registered. Buyer is responsible for completing the registration process in their particular State. Title: We have on file actual (not "paperless") vehicle title documents for purchases. Autobahn West will handle all DMV title/registration procedures for purchases made within California. Once payment has been received on out-of-state purchases, Autobahn West will forward title documents to the Buyer by overnight mail. Any titles in process will be forwarded by overnight mail as soon as they are received by Autobahn West. Prior Sale: All vehicles listed are for sale locally and are subject to prior sale.

Financing

Autobahn West is a fully licensed California Automobile Dealership. As such, financing or leasing for your purchase can be easily arranged through your Bank or Credit Union. Simply refer your financial institution to our Sales Department for any information they may need to complete your transaction smoothly. Should you need a recommendation for a Financial Institution, we have excellent relationships with select Credit Unions and Banks and will forward information to you upon request. Warranties

Each Autobahn West vehicle receives a complete and thorough Mechanical Inspection before earning the Autobahn West Certification. Our Certification consists of an extensive 106 point Safety / Mechanical / Cosmetic checklist. Every BMW we offer must pass this rigorous inspection to qualify for our inventory. For even more peace of mind, Autobahn West also offers warranty coverage on virtually all of our vehicles. Many Autobahn West vehicles are still under the BMW Factory Warranty, which covers them for Four years (from original purchase date) or 50,000 miles. This is noted in the detailed information for each car. Other vehicles are sold AS-IS. In both cases, Autobahn West is proud to offer some of the best extended warranty coverages available. Using the same programs preferred by respected BMW dealerships, in-warranty BMWs can have an extension added to their coverage, and out-of-warranty BMWs can gain coverage for up to 3 years and 36,000 miles from the date of sale. A whole menu of coverage is available, from power train only to comprehensive bumper-to-bumper coverage (except itemized wear items). All programs can also include rental car coverage, towing service, battery service, tire service and trip interruption insurance. We would be happy to provide you with program information available to suit your budget and selected vehicle. Autobahn West warranty options provide more realistic coverage than the BMW Certified Pre-Owned warranty. (Who really drives 50,000 miles in the two years of their maximum coverage?) With our warranty programs, you can take your BMW to your choice of a BMW dealership or independent service facility. Instead of the CPO warranty limitations, you can select the length of term and miles, the deductible, and the extent of items covered from a menu of programs. With Autobahn West, you can have flexibility and value to go with your peace of mind. Be sure to ask about extended warranty coverage when you choose your Autobahn West BMW.

Delivery

Autobahn West offers free door-to-door delivery in the Southern California region (within a 150 mile radius of San Diego). If you are located outside of Southern California, we will be happy to assist you with shipping your new purchase to your home or office. Should you wish to fly in to pick up your BMW, we will arrange to meet you at San Diego International Airport. If you plan on arriving by bus or train, we will pick you up at those stations as well. (Please note: vehicles delivered within the State of California are subject to California State sales tax). Simply contact us for delivery arrangements.

Shipping

Buyer assumes the cost of shipping and insurance. We have supporting transporter contacts to deliver your vehicle anywhere in the USA and Canada. We would be happy to arrange this for you and provide a cost estimate prior to the sale.

Inspections

At Buyer's expense, we suggest that you have your vehicle inspected by an independent Service prior to purchase. We will be happy to assist you with these arrangements. Each Autobahn West vehicle has had a complete and thorough Mechanical Inspection and has received the Autobahn West Certification. Our Certification consists of an extensive 106 point Safety / Mechanical / Cosmetic checklist. Each of the BMWs we offer must pass this rigorous inspection to qualify for our inventory. A copy of the Autobahn West Certification Checklist, as well as a current Carfax Report or AutoCheck report are available for each car upon request. Locator Service - SLS

Have you ever wished that you could go to a Dealers' Auction to choose your next car - and buy it at an auction price? Because Dealer Auctions are closed to the Public, Autobahn West offers you the next best option: "SLS" Specialized Locator Service. Autobahn West is dedicated to providing the best possible experience in purchasing a BMW, so we developed the Specialized Locator Service to help you find the BMW of your dreams. If you are looking for a BMW (or other automobile) - with specific colors and/or options, "SLS" is designed to find your perfect BMW at the best price. SLS Service is simple: Decide which Year, Model, Color, Transmission, Options and Mileage you prefer in your BMW. Contact Autobahn West at 619.885.7789 with your choices. Autobahn West will review your choices and a maximum budget price with you and fax or email a Confirmation and Agreement back to you. After receipt of your signed approval and fully refundable $1,000 deposit, Autobahn West will begin the search for your automobile. We will investigate regional and nationwide auctions and dealer sources to locate a BMW which matches your criteria as closely as possible. The vehicle's history is then scrutinized, the car is visually and mechanically inspected and you are closely consulted over each viable prospect. A bid is not entered until you approve of the selected BMW. You set a maximum bid and we'll attempt to buy it for even less. We are bidding on YOUR behalf. Prior to taking delivery of your BMW, Autobahn West will perform a full mechanical inspection, have all service updates performed and provide a complete detailing. We will then arrange a convenient appointment time with you to finalize transactional details, DMV paperwork and delivery. Our SLS Parameters: The deposit of $1,000 will be applied toward the purchase price of the Automobile. Dealer Auctions require immediate payment in full - Buyers are responsible for payment to Autobahn West within four calendar days of the Auction. You will have ample notice before Auctions to arrange for financing, if needed. We will process all California DMV paperwork and registration requirements for you. Our commitment is to find an automobile which matches your specifications as closely as possible within four months. We require a $1,000 "earnest money" deposit that is applied to the price of your BMW when we locate it. Should Autobahn West be unable to locate your automobile or you decide to cancel the process before your BMW is purchased, your deposit is fully refunded. The final cost for your BMW is the Auction price, plus the pre approved SLS fee as stated in your Agreement and any DMV fees and California State sales taxes, if applicable. Regional delivery to you is complementary.

Disclosures

Please keep in mind that these are pre-owned vehicles, being sold on an "As-Is" basis unless otherwise stated. These vehicles have been previously owned, driven and been subjected to normal wear and tear, both cosmetically and mechanically. We fully recondition all vehicles to bring the Safety, Mechanical and Cosmetic condition to "as close to new as possible" prior to offering them for sale. We describe all vehicles as accurately as possible; however it is not possible to include every detail and imperfection. Please do not expect your pre-owned vehicle to be absolutely perfect. At Buyer's expense, we suggest that you have your vehicle inspected by an independent Service prior to purchase. We will be happy to assist you with these arrangements. Our vehicles are occasionally test driven, therefore, the mileage may vary from the advertised miles. Please be sure to discuss and resolve all details and concerns regarding the vehicle description with Autobahn West prior to completion of purchase. Any problems regarding your purchase must be reported to Autobahn West within 24 hours of receipt of your vehicle.
